Freestanding Jib Cranes

Toronto Electric’s Freestanding Jib Cranes are used under large bridge cranes, in open areas where they can serve several workstations, or overlapped with other jibs to provide staged operation. They are also suitable for outdoor applications, as these jibs are engineered for use with powered hoists. Our freestanding jib cranes are foundation-mounted, freestanding jibs that support jobs with higher capacities, longer spans, and greater rotation than our wall-mounted jib cranes.

Wall-Mounted Jib Cranes

Toronto Electric’s wall-mounted jib cranes can be mounted on structurally adequate walls or columns. They provide effective lifting coverage to supplement an overhead crane system or for a series of overlapping work cells. They don’t require floor space or foundations and easily swing out of the way of overhead cranes, making them pragmatic and conforming to your space. Wall-mounted jib cranes are built to assist workers in their lifting applications as they increase safety and decrease time spent on moving heavy objects manually. We customize and install wall-mounted jib cranes on a horizontal boom attached to a pivoting vertical column that gets mounted to the wall. Our jib cranes have a rotation of 180 degrees and are made with high-grade iron castings, roller bearings, grease fittings, steel axles, and cotter pins.
