Standard freestanding jib crane

Standard freestanding jib crane solutions can be made for slewing angles of 360 degrees with features like anchor bolts and wall plates. The versatility of freestanding jib cranes is ideal for heavy loads and high productivity applications. They work compatibly beneath large bridge cranes, in open areas of multiple workstations, outdoors and loading docks, or in machine and assembly applications to be overlapped with other jib cranes. When choosing your freestanding jib crane, consider two things: the jib crane must be supported by a structurally adequate foundation (unless you choose a foundationless design) and there needs to be adequate clearance above the boom (3 inches) throughout the arc.

Wall-mounted Jib Cranes

Wall-mounted jib cranes are extremely similar to the freestanding configurations but depend on preexisting infrastructure for support. This is especially convenient in facilities with limited floor space and our jib cranes feature a 200-degree rotation, bolts to your walls or columns, and bronze bearings at the pivot points to ensure easy rotation. At Toronto Electric, we provide wall-mounted jib cranes to be mounted on structurally adequate walls or columns to provide effective lifting coverage to supplement an overhead crane system or for a series of overlapping work cells. They easily swing out of the way of overhead cranes, making them pragmatic and conforming to your space. Wall-mounted jib cranes are built to assist workers in their lifting applications as they increase safety and decrease time spent on moving heavy objects manually.
